Facebook Invites

It seems like almost everyone has Facebook now. Whether you’re arranging a party, wedding or other get together, Facebook event pages are great to use. The pages can be invite-only or open to anyone who’d like to come.  They’re a great place to dole out details and make plans with other attendees. They also send reminders so you don’t have to. No matter what you’re planning, don’t forget the Facebook page!

Cake Pops

A lot of couples are straying from tradition and putting a spin on their special day. Making your wedding unique doesn’t have to mean wearing a bright pink dress – focus on the dessert. Three-tiered, white cakes aren’t all they’re cracked up to be anymore. Try cupcakes, a sugar-filled buffet, or cake pops. If these are too extreme, try a cake that’s coloured to fit your theme covered in the traditional white fondant.

Lights Camera Action

Whether you’re looking to host a gallery opening or a fine dining experience, lighting is key. It sets the mood and can be used to enhance a theme. Try strings of tiny lights to mimic a night sky, strings of lights draped from the ceiling instead of fabric or dimmed spotlights on each table instead of centerpieces.
